At The Domsy Foundation, our focus has always been on helping where it matters most. This winter, we had the pleasure of visiting the Oakville & Milton Humane Society (OMHS) to learn more about the incredible work they do for animals in our community.

During our visit, we had meaningful conversations with Executive Director Jeff Vallentin and Community Engagement Manager Somer Deschambault-Page. Their passion for animal care and community education left a lasting impression on us. After hearing about their vision and seeing the dedication behind the scenes, we felt inspired to increase our giving in support of their mission.

From rescuing animals to preparing them for adoption and educating the public about responsible care, the team at OMHS creates impact every single day. Their warmth, transparency, and commitment are everything we look for in a partner.

As a thank-you, Somer shared a touching video with us that premiered at OMHS’s “Prancing with the Stars” event. It tells the story of Sophie, a dog who found her forever home through the shelter. It’s a gentle, three-minute glimpse into the kind of change our support helps make possible.

We’re proud to support OMHS and look forward to staying connected as they continue their important work. To everyone at the shelter — thank you for all you do.
